ThermoLab Baram CPU Cooler :: Posted on 01.06.09
The Baram made a strong first impression for ThermoLab and what they are capable of... I hope to see more products from them in the future. The cooler performed quite well during testing, and for those interested in running their system in near silence, the Baram will cooperate with temperatures that may be better than on some more popular (and louder) coolers.
Zalman CNPS9900 LED CPU Cooler :: Posted on 01.05.09
The CNPS9900 LED features the familiar look of a Zalman product, with a variety of innovations and refinements that make it stand out over models from previous generations in the CNPS (Computer Noise Prevention System) product line. A 120mm fan is located in between two rings of thin copper fins that dissipate the processor's heat thanks to three heatpipe loops.
ASUS Xonar D1 PCI Audio Card :: Posted on 12.30.08
The ASUS Xonar D1 is a 7.1 channel solution designed to fit into full sized or low profile systems, and offers exceptional audio in 3D games and home theater applications. If you are serious enough about sound to realize that the onboard solution just isn't cutting it, the Xonar D1 is worth considering. It offers great sound, appealing features, and it won't break the bank.
OCZ Technology SLI-Ready 2GB DDR3-2000 Memory Kit :: Posted on 12.23.08
The OCZ Technology SLI-Ready 2GB DDR3-2000 dual channel memory kit is almost ahead of its time. The motherboard used does support SLI-Ready memory up to 2000MHz, but it did have some trouble staying stable at that speed. Testing really didn't show much advantage over a ‘slower’ kit, and if you can run with tighter timings at lower speeds you may be better off.
Sapphire Atomic Radeon HD4870 X2 2048MB Graphics Card :: Posted on 12.18.08
The features, specifications, real world performance, and physical appearance are all incredible. It is one of the highest performance cards on the market, while also probably being one of the coolest and quietest. This low noise and low heat is even more impressive when you consider that it isn't just the GPU being cooled, but the CPU and the case, too.
ASUS EEE PC 701 Netbook :: Posted on 12.16.08
The bottom line is that the entire series of ASUS EEE PC netbooks are pretty cool, fun, and easy to use; and the refurbished EEE PC 4G 701 netbook is no different. If you are looking for a low cost, light weight device to keep you connected when you are away from your main computer, this is a great option to consider.

In Win Matrix Tiny Tower Micro ATX Case :: Posted on 01.07.09
On the whole, I'm pretty impressed with In Win's Matrix tiny-tower chassis. It has a distinctive look and sports some very nice features for a case of this size. The pearl white/black color scheme is refreshing and the multiple doors maintain a uniform look while providing easy access to the external drives and ports. I'm also impressed with the cooling scheme In Win uses here. It's no mean feat to cool a chassis this small and crowded, but the Matrix does a good job in this respect, all the while keeping noise to a minimum. tweaknews.net
Antec Twelve Hundred Full Tower Case :: Posted on 01.07.09
Being a big brute isn't necessarily a bad thing these days when it comes to finding a housing for a gaming rig. There can be strength in both sheer size and in sheer numbers. The Antec Twelve Hundred full tower case is an example of the two. This chassis is brutishly large and includes six fans with blue LEDs, one of which, a top mounted 200mm fan, blows directly on the CPU and RAM. The other five fans are 120mm, three for air intake, and two for air exhaust. Two more optional 120mm fans can be mounted, for a grand total of eight fans. bjorn3d.com
Sapphire HD4870 TOXIC 1GB Graphics Card :: Posted on 01.07.09
Sapphire are the biggest AMD graphics card partner and a few months ago they released an overclocked version of the 4870 (Toxic edition) carrying a custom cooling solution. However, that version only shipped with 512MB of GDDR5 memory which wasn't ideal for the growing demands of high end enthusiast users. driverheaven.net
Lian Li PC-888 Exotic Aluminum PC Case :: Posted on 01.07.09
Perhaps best known for their work with aluminum PC cases Lian Li has recently released the PC-888 which will be the focus of this review. Lian Li has a wide range of media center cases, small, medium, and full tower cases in addition to a line of power supplies. With more than 20 years manufacturing cases for the PC market Lian Li has more than enough experience in what works and how to engineer it. We will be taking a look at their latest creation to see if their engineering and experience has been put to good use. techwarelabs.com
SilverStone Raven (RVM01B) Mouse :: Posted on 01.05.09
For this review I will be looking at a new product from one of my favourite computer hardware manufacturers, the highly respected SilverStone. The actual product I am looking at is a little bit unusual for SilverStone as the product I will be looking at is a gaming mouse, the Raven RVM01B. xtremecomputing.co.uk
NorthQ Siberian Tiger II Water Cooler :: Posted on 01.05.09
Today we have the opportunity to review another product from NorthQ, a Danish company who have been aggressively expanding the last several months. Not long ago we had a look at the Siberian Tiger, a compact water cooling solution designed to narrow the chasm between air coolers and more complex DIY water cooling solutions. It was a pre-assembled, easy to install and maintenance free water cooling product. driverheaven.net
Xigmatek NRP-PC501 500W Power Supply :: Posted on 01.05.09
Xigmatek is an unfamiliar name for power supplies in these parts. However, the company does have some degree of presence out there in the world of CPU cooling; and we've gotten more than a few requests to see how good their watt boxes are. Today I'm finally taking a look at one of them in the NRP-PC501. This is a 500W value oriented unit boasting a good sized 140mm fan and 80 Plus certification. jonnyguru.com
PromoLocker Custom VH USB Drive :: Posted on 01.05.09
What we will be looking at today is what PromoLocker calls their U29 - Lanyard Drive. This product, like their many many others is fully customizable with colors, logos and even text on the lanyard itself and is available in sizes from a measly 64MB all the way up to a hefty 8GB. We'll be looking at the 8GB size today with a custom Virtual-Hideout.net suit on. Let's take a look at what PromoLocker has to say about this particular item. virtual-hideout.net
Nonaoxia Nano Fans :: Posted on 01.05.09
It's not everyday a reviewer like myself can let his hair down and come up with a new way of reviewing a product. Nanoxia has done exactly that, by allowed me to let my hair down and just plain have fun, and torture a perfectly good fan. MUHAHAHAHA!!! Let's get on with the review (specifications first as always and then testing) to see how these little fans held up. bjorn3d.com
